Paul Harris is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He graduated from Medical School at the University of London in 1991 and gained an MD following research in tissue engineering. He went on to complete his specialist surgical training in Plastic Surgery in 2004, having studied in London and Melbourne.
Paul Harris’ busy private practice is based at The Consulting Suite in Central London, where he consults in both Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery. He feels that despite differences in purpose, a thorough understanding of applied anatomy and the same surgical techniques underpin both disciplines. Mr Harris' expertise lies in rejuvenation of the face, breasts and abdomen including body contour surgery. In addition he performs a wide range of reconstructive procedures, particularly for skin lesions, after mastectomy and following dramatic weight loss.
“It is vital for anyone considering plastic surgery that they see an experienced and qualified surgeon for independent professional advice. All surgical treatments should include a full discussion of suitability, results, complications and expected recovery.”
Mr Harris is listed on the GMC specialist register and is a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS). He is the author of many publications and several textbook chapters.
